Architectural, Engineering and Graphic Designer career description

Architectural designers create plans, drawings, and layouts for buildings and landscapes. They are typically less qualified than architects and are not recognized by a statutory body. This job includes meeting with clients to discuss a project’s requirements and budget, creating layouts that reflect the brief, and ensuring that the blueprints comply with regulations. They typically work full time in an office environment. Architectural designers should have the creativity to find new ways to design buildings, the technical skill to utilize CAD software, and the communication skills to deal with clients and colleagues alike.

Engineering Designer

Civil designers draft civil engineering designs for roadways, water and sewage lines, drainage, and land grading specifications for commercial and residential building sites using maps and topographical surveys. Civil designers primarily work in office environments, but also sometimes travel to proposed building sites. These professionals report directly to project engineers. Civil designers find full-time and independent contractor work with building and architectural firms, construction companies, governments, and private businesses of all kinds.

Graphic Designer

Graphic designers create visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials and magazine layouts. Graphic designers (who may also be known as graphic artists) utilise graphic design skills to create media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage

These courses are for the architectural, engineering and graphic enthusiast and introduce technical drawings, design fundamentals. They familiarize participants in the areas of architectural drawing, engineering drawings, construction methods, building terminology, materials and finishes, model building, periods and styles of architecture and interior designs. They includes basics ideas of how to start your own business.

These courses allow those who want continue studying further in associated fields; Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil engineering, Urban Design, Project Management and interior Design to have basic knowledge.

1. What is full registration? When you have registered on our website and get a positive feedback of your provisional admission and make payment of the registration fees

2. When do I pay? Registration fees is paid once a positive feedback was received after applying on our website.

The tuition fees can be paid only after the first meeting with the chief of the department, for orientation.

NB: Registration fees is non refundable

3. How do I pay? Deposit to our company account. No cash or any type of wallet accepted

4. Which certificate do I get? You get an Attendance certificate. International certificate applies on software (currently available for AutoCad only)

5. Are you registered? We are registered as a company operating in Namibia. We offer short courses and short courses can not be registered with the Ministry of Higher education or NQA. Nevertheless we are in the process of registering with the Ministry of Higher education and NQA an extended program for one year that will hopefully start in 2023 or 2024. Those who register now for 3 months will be exempted from the modules done should they register for the extended program. The extended program will be on NQF level 5 (Diploma)
